Student Life
A classical education forms the whole person — and that formation doesn't stop when the last class period ends. NOCA's clubs extend the school's commitments into student-led territory: competition, service, leadership, and the ancient art of arguing well.
Grades 7–12
Students hone their chess strategy during this popular lunch club and compete in tournaments throughout northwest Ohio.
High School
Cultural and historical enrichment through Latin-based media, games, and activities. Members may attend conventions and compete in writing, vocabulary, and academic competitions.
High School
NHS members demonstrate Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. Membership is an extension of the school's classical mission — to form students who are not only capable but good.
K–12
Students with elected, appointed, or representative roles plan activities that promote school spirit and model the Student Code of Conduct.
Grades 9–12
Students hone their public speaking and critical thinking through rhetoric competitions hosted by the Ohio Speech and Debate Association.
Grades 7–12
Members compete in math and science challenges that emphasize inquiry, creativity, and teamwork.
Grades 7–12
Trained student ambassadors conduct campus tours and host visiting families and shadowing students — the first face a prospective family meets at NOCA.
